


We had the pleasure of welcoming back a group of seniors from Sage Crossing to the garden again Friday. These folks, who have some level of memory loss, were enthusiastic about doing some hands-on gardening again. They had planted a row of zucchini last March, and on Friday they scored a big harvest from those plants! These were blue-ribbon quality zucchini! Oh what a night! Over 15 people turned out Tuesday evening to give summer crops a major kick start! This team planted new rows of watermelon, yellow squash, green beans, edamame, and eggplant.
