There are many different opinions about gardening in general and harvesting in particular. We’ve pulled together a consensus on guidelines for harvesting so we can be consistent. Please review these guidelines so you’ll know what to look for. There will be a printed copy at the garden to refresh your memory as needed. Two parallel tasks when harvesting (if time allows)
In addition to our garden work on scheduled garden workdays, including soil prep, planting, watering, weeding etc., there are other important supporting tasks that make the garden go.
