Simple Gifts Community Garden was honored to receive a certificate of appreciation this week from the Holly Springs Food Cupboard. Produce harvested on Tuesdays goes to this local food pantry, which serves nearly 1,500 local residents. Our garden provided 1,883 pounds of fresh, organic produce we grew in 2025 to this food pantry, serving households that do not have adequate access to this kind of nutrition. Our compost bins are full to overflowing and we need some folks to help turn them as soon as the weather and schedules allow.
