Reuse Produce Containers for Food Banks

If you have produce containers like these two sizes, please wash them and bring them to the garden to be reused for produce we send to the the food banks. We had quite a backlog in the loft, but we’ve used most of them up now. These two sizes are perfect for raspberries and cherry tomatoes, both of which are very prolific right now. Packaging in smaller sizes like this makes it easier for the food banks to share produce to multiple families. And keeping just two sizes makes it easier for us to manage them in our limited storage space.

It’s hot out there, but if you have a little time to come help us harvest, you’ll be rewarded with some lovely produce for your Independence Day celebration. We’ll start at 8am, but we will close by mid morning, so come early!
