Temps will be in the 70’s, with some chance of a little rain now and then, but no thunderstorms! We harvested 75 pounds on Tuesday and 85 pounds on Thursday, so we definitely need to keep up with all our bountiful crops. We even harvested our first watermelon Thursday, and the rest are definitely coming along. We will have regular hours (8:00 – noon), so come when you can, but we need to have the…

Due to heavy rain and thunderstorms expected this evening, our REGULAR GARDEN is CANCELLLED TONIGHT. A few of us will go there this afternoon at 2 PM, however, to harvest what we can for the St. Mary’s AME Church Food Pantry. We are strictly harvesting this time, so it should go quickly before the storms arrive. If you are available to help with that, you are most welcome, but we understand this is short notice!
In addition to our garden work on scheduled garden workdays, including soil prep, planting, watering, weeding etc., there are other important supporting tasks that make the garden go.
