Our compost bins are full to overflowing and we need some folks to help turn them as soon as the weather and schedules allow. If you can help, please contact Debbie Frank at debfrank570@gmail.com or 919-601-8458 and she will coordinate a day/time. Compost is crucial to rebuilding our soil for greater yields when we begin

There are no words to express the loss that our garden family, Apex UMC and the Apex community has suffered. This past Easter Sunday on April 12th, Jeanne Hack, our benefactor and dear friend went home to Jesus. She was laid to rest latter that week beside her dear husband, Joe. When gatherings are possible

Volunteer opportunities
In addition to our garden work on scheduled garden workdays, including soil prep, planting, watering, weeding etc., there are other important supporting tasks that make the garden go. See some examples below. If you would like to sign up to help with any of these on particular dates, please go to our sign-up sheet by clicking the button below. Many hands make light work!
