Garden starting soon!
Saturday, March 2 – Opening day of garden (9am-noon) Tuesday, March 12 – our first Tuesday evening workday this year – 5-7pm. Tuesdays continue through the end of October! Saturday, May 18 – GRAND OPENING at our new location! Save this date! We’ll celebrate our new garden and share it the community. Garden leaders needed!
Every organization needs leaders. We are all part of groups where we may lead or follow based on our knowledge, longevity or availability. We have a large group of folks who lead in many different ways. Some plan behind the scenes, some help with compost turning or pickup, others deliver harvest to food banks or help with school groups that visit the garden. And these are just a few examples. Volunteer opportunities
In addition to our garden work on scheduled garden workdays, including soil prep, planting, watering, weeding etc., there are other important supporting tasks that make the garden go.
