    A Spiffy New Fence for the Garden!

    Thanks to Eagle-Scout candidate Yagya Kasera of BSA Troop 320 in Fuquay Varina, Simple Gifts Community Garden now has a beautiful, new split-rail fence along the road frontage. This not only enhances the overall appearance of the garden, as you approach it, but it provides a great safety barrier to prevent people accidentally backing their cars into the ditch!     Tuesday Garden starts tomorrow at 4pm

    Our first Tuesday garden workday for 2024 is tomorrow and we’re beginning at 4pm! Normally we start at 5pm this time of year, but we need some extra time to get cold season crops in the ground since we were rained out this past Saturday. Volunteer opportunities

In addition to our garden work on scheduled garden workdays, including soil prep, planting, watering, weeding etc., there are other important supporting tasks that make the garden go.
