Urgent compost turning needed!
Our compost bins are full to overflowing thanks to member contributions and several teams of dedicated folks who pick up food scraps from grocery stores, coffee houses and local food banks. We need to turn the bins ASAP so we don’t have to put these deliveries on hold. If you can help, please email (anneh21@gmail.com) or text me (919-616-6659). There are two sets of 4 bins each plus a single #5 bin, so multiple people can work on this at a time.

The Fall Garden is Gorgeous
As summer fades to fall, the garden’s greens will surely brighten your day! Along with collards and chard, you’ll find peas, turnips, carrots, and many other treats. Besides the bounty of the earth, the Fruit of the Spirit is also nourished in the peaceful and friendly world of the Simple Gifts Community Garden. Why not drop by TUESDAYS from 5-7 pm, or SATURDAYS from 9-12? After a visit to the garden, you’re sure to realize that SIMPLE GIFTS are not only given; they are richly received! …
Volunteer opportunities
In addition to our garden work on scheduled garden workdays, including soil prep, planting, watering, weeding etc., there are other important supporting tasks that make the garden go.
