The garden is great for groups – team-building, learning together, contributing to the common good of the community and environment! Youth groups holding workdays at the garden have included Noah’s Ark, AKA sorority, Thales Academy, Mormon youth & missionaries, Apex Friendship NHS & Key Club, just to name a few. We also host groups from local businesses and non-profit organizations looking for an enriching, team-building volunteer experience. In the picture on the top right, you can see our AUMC Youth built our shed during 2010 AOSP, which we proudly moved to our new location in 2023 and still use today! We also host Eagle Scout and Girl Scout Silver/Gold Award projects periodically.
