Strawberry Fields Forever
There was magic in the garden today, as everyone transformed our two remaining strawberry rows into three. One row was massively thinned as an experiment to see if the original plants will thrive and produce berries as wonderful as they did this year. Strawberry plant giveaway!
Tomorrow we will be transplanting young strawberry plants to new beds. We have way more plants than we have room so if you’d like to take some home to plant, please come help us at the garden tomorrow 8am-noon. There will be instructions available so never fear! Hope to see you tomorrow!
Volunteer opportunities
In addition to our garden work on scheduled garden workdays, including soil prep, planting, watering, weeding etc., there are other important supporting tasks that make the garden go.
