Time and date changes!
Beginning tomorrow Saturday workdays will start at 9am! It’s supposed to be 37 degrees at 8am so we’ll wait until it’s a little warmer to start. We still need to get the harvest done by pick up time at 9:30 though, so please come out early and help us get our produce to the food bank. Saturday workdays will continue through November 22. Garden harvest dinner tomorrow!
We hope you’re planning to come to our Fall Harvest Dinner tomorrow, at 6:30pm at Tonya’s house (115 S. Salem Street in Apex). You and your family are invited and we’ll all bring dishes to share for dinner (remember the covered dish math – bring enough to feed you/your family plus one!) Volunteer opportunities
In addition to our garden work on scheduled garden workdays, including soil prep, planting, watering, weeding etc., there are other important supporting tasks that make the garden go. See some examples below. If you would like to sign up to help with any of these on particular dates, please go to our sign-up sheet by clicking the button below. Many hands make light work!
