Grand Opening – May 18
Saturday – May 18 from 10am – noon Grand Opening of Simple Gifts Community Garden 2.0! We hope you’ll all save this date to celebrate our new location and introduce the community to our work. Please share this with your neighbors, family and friends! We have lots of exciting plans including speakers from the YMCA, Town of Apex and Apex UMC. Garden begins at 8am tomorrow!
Now that the weather is getting warmer, we will begin Saturday garden hours at 8am starting tomorrow! Hope to see you tomorrow. It looks like it’s gonna be a gorgeous day!
Volunteer opportunities
In addition to our garden work on scheduled garden workdays, including soil prep, planting, watering, weeding etc., there are other important supporting tasks that make the garden go. See some examples below. If you would like to sign up to help with any of these on particular dates, please go to our sign-up sheet by clicking the button below. Many hands make light work!
