  • Hey guys – we’ve got crops to tend to!

    The weather looks great tomorrow morning, and the garden is really ramping up, so please come if you can! The tomatoes are robust and need to be tied up, and some can even be harvested now. We need the harvest all ready by 9:30 to get to the Point Church Care Pantry on time for distribution tomorrow, including tomatoes, cabbage, peas, potatoes, green beans, strawberries, and raspberries.   • Tater time!

    Tater time!

    We harvested over 280 pounds of potatoes from 3 of our 4 row this morning! We got some beautiful dark red Norlands, Yukon golds and Pontiacs. We still have one row of German butterballs that we’ll be harvesting soon. We also harvested 4 rows of garlic, lettuce, swiss chard, strawberries, raspberries, onions and peas. In addition to our garden work on scheduled garden workdays, including soil prep, planting, watering, weeding etc., there are other important supporting tasks that make the garden go.
