The Garden was Rockin’ when the Kids Came a-Knockin’ Today!
Kid-power ruled the garden today! We had an amazing group of 22 youth from Peak United Methodist Church Youth Group in Apex, Friendship High School in Apex, and Green Level High School in Cary. Help for NC mountains!
Garden friends – if you’re looking for a way to help those devastated by the flooding in the NC mountains, please pick up a few items from the list below and bring them to the garden Tuesday night. Apex UMC (our sponsoring/founding organization) is assembling flood buckets Wednesday night to help people begin the overwhelming job of cleaning up. UMCOR (United Methodist Committee of Relief) will coordinate the delivery of these buckets to those who…

In addition to our garden work on scheduled garden workdays, including soil prep, planting, watering, weeding etc., there are other important supporting tasks that make the garden go.
