Seedlings in a tray

Wait – it’s only February! But March is right around the corner, and our first garden day of 2026 is March 7th (30 days). To get new crops ready to plant for the new season, Larry has been nurturing seedlings under grow lights. He has 400 seeds incubating, including:

  • Broccoli
  • Kale
  • Bok choi
  • Cabbage

And on the pollinator and companion plant front, Penny has been tending to her new crop of seedlings in her greenhouse for us, including:

  • 20 nasturtiums
  • 20 borage
  • 30 African Marigolds
  • 50 French Marigolds
  • 15 calendula
  • 50 alyssum
  • 30 cosmos
  • plus these annual pollinator plants: orange and yellow tithonia and sunflowers

Many thanks to Larry and Penny, and let’s get ready to dig!
