Tomorrow, Thursday and Saturday we will have all of our lovely dried garlic back at the garden! We will set aside some of it to plant this November (for harvest next summer). The rest will be available to you and our local food banks. Because we hung this garlic to dry it has great shelf life – if you store it in a paper or mesh bag in a cool, dark, dry location (with ventilation if possible), it can last many months! The flavor will fade over time though. Once you start to divide the bulb into cloves the lifespan will decrease more rapidly.
