Garlic and Friends

Our first Thursday morning was popular, with 10-12 people coming to work the land. The fine art of garlic braiding was shared with several new members who joined today. The harvest yielded 59 pounds of cabbage, peppers, strawberries, raspberries, squash, onions, kale, beets, and Swiss chard, which all went for the first time to the great folks at the White Oak Foundation. The people there, led by Sharon Green, run a terrific food pantry and were thrilled to start receiving the fruits of our labor to share with those in need in Apex.
