Saturday April 19th Garden Workday – 9 AM-Noon

Come one, come all! Strap on those garden boots and gloves and let’s get this garden ready for summer! This Saturday, we will be preparing beds and planting at least seven new rows of young plants kindly started for us by both Larry and Penny that need to get in the ground now. These include several varieties of tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant. We also have many other rows to plant by seed, but let’s see how far we get. Our spring crops are growing and producing beautifully already, and we will continue harvesting luscious strawberries, crisp lettuce, kale, and bright red radishes, with more on the way soon. Prefer to water or weed – we have that too!

If you have not been to the garden before, this is a perfect time to start. Temps will be in the mid 70’s with partly-cloudy skies. See you Saturday!
