We’ll gather this coming Tuesday, December 31st at 10:30am at the garden to harvest collards and other crops for New Year’s luck! In case you’re not from the south (or haven’t lived here long), the traditional meal for New Year’s is black-eyed peas, collards (or other greens), pork and cornbread. I’m sure there are lots of stories about why this is, but most revolve around good luck and prosperity in the new year.

We hope to see you next Tuesday morning!
