The garden team tested our biggest and best watermelon yesterday, and more importantly, everyone’s seed-spitting skills! It was a close contest, and the melon was so delicious, everybody kept coming back for more ammunition. Chris checked the readiness of the melon for the big games, and Anne deftly wielded our special watermelon saw to provide contestants their game pieces (and juicy snacks). Chris was the judge and declared a tie between Penny and Nick! Others went back for additional slices, allegedly to get more practice.
