A terrific group of ten youth from the Peak United Methodist Church in Apex volunteered at the garden for three hours this morning. They were eager to help and fun to work with, and a lot of row-prepping and weeding was accomplished today, as a result! Thanks to Pastor Katie and Laura for bringing them to our garden today.

Bruce has been working on our garden shed, too, replacing rotting trim boards with durable PVC boards. Today, the gutters went back up, so we should be able to fill our rain barrels again, with all the rain coming our way this week.

One last note of appreciation . . . The fantastic pollinator gardens at the top and bottom of the garden are in full glory. The butterflies and bees have noticed and are happily pollinating all day long!
