Y’all remember that wet stuff that used to fall from the sky? We really NEED some of that, so if you know any ways to encourage a long, soaking-in rain, please do it!

Thursday evening workdays begin tomorrow 6-8pm. Beans, squash, tomatoes and more all need to be picked pretty often in the summer. We’re also looking forward to seeing Miss Helen who picks up our produce on Thursdays for St. Mary AME Food Pantry. Come help us and enjoy the cooler evenings in this scorching weather. (Don’t forget Tuesdays are also 6-8pm for duration of the summer.)

This Saturday garden workday hours will be 7am-11am due to the heat.

Please encourage anyone you know who you think might enjoy the garden to come check us out. We have a really great start on building the garden, but we need to focus on re-building our membership too. Many hands make light work.
