The weather looks great tomorrow morning, and the garden is really ramping up, so please come if you can! The tomatoes are robust and need to be tied up, and some can even be harvested now. We need the harvest all ready by 9:30 to get to the Point Church Care Pantry on time for distribution tomorrow, including tomatoes, cabbage, peas, potatoes, green beans, strawberries, and raspberries. And let’s more prepare and plant some more of the summer beds, including lima beans, pumpkins, watermelons, and edamame. Ask about the introduction this year of “companion plants,” carefully researched by Penny, to amplify the productivity of our crops. While there, be sure to also enjoy the beautiful display of flowers in the pollinators beds, thanks to Penny, Peggy, Anne, et al! While you are at it, why not invite a friend to join you tomorrow morning? See you there!
