We’re coming down to the wire to get ready for our Grand Opening one week from tomorrow! We’ll have lots of folks from all over the community visiting to learn about the garden and about our sustainability efforts. I hope you’ll join us tomorrow and/or Tuesday to help get things ready for this big day! Also we REALLY need volunteers to help with the event on May 18th. I’m posting the sign up genius link again here in hopes that it will get all filled up. I know it’s sometimes hard to plan and commit, but it would be a huge help and a big stress reliever if we could get a lot of these spots filled soon. We also hope you’ll invite all your family and friends to come out to the Grand Opening!

We need 3 large decorative pots similar to the ones near the top garden gate to plant herbs in the mint family that like to try to take over the world when planted in the ground. If you have any pots that are similar in size to the ones we have now that you’d like to donate, please bring them! We’re looking for something a little more decorative than a regular black plastic nursery pot for this, but otherwise we’re not particular.
