Some of you may have heard about the global United Methodist Church’s decision to continue to exclude LGBTQIA persons from the sacraments of marriage and ordination at our recent worldwide General Conference.  Simple Gifts Community Garden is a mission of Apex UMC, and along with our local church, we are committed to continuing to practice our long-held and stated church value of intentional inclusiveness. We believe we are all beloved children of God, no matter our skin color, politics, gender, ethnic background, no matter how we worship God or by what name, no matter whether we even believe in God and no matter how we identify or whom we love.  It is important to us that you know that you and anyone you would like to invite to the Garden will be welcomed and loved and included in every way.  We hope to see you soon at the Garden.
