Tuesday Garden Notes*

Hi garden leaders!

It was a beautiful night at the garden tonight!  Rosemary, Tonya and I planted the other half of the beet row and prepped and planted a row of spinach.  I think probably I should have sent out an email reminding folks that Tuesday gardening begins with daylight savings time because there were only the three of us despite the beautiful weather.  (In case you’re wondering, Freddie is sick, so perhaps send your prayers, healing thoughts and/or some Vitamin C his way!)  Next  Tuesday is St. Patrick’s day and Bill Pate (our garden leader) will be out of town.  He has written one email asking if anyone could switch or fill in for him and gotten no response so far.  If you can help, please let us all know ASAP.  If no one is available I guess we’ll send out a  note reminding folks that Tuesday garden will be in full swing on March 24th and we’ll take a break for St. Patty’s day.

Chris is garden leader Saturday and we may have a large group coming.  (She’s talking with them about possibly coming later in the spring when there will be more to do, but for now we have 25 moms and 25 kids coming in addition to regular gardeners, so if you can lend a hand, please do.  We’ll hope the weather is better than currently forecast.)  Attached is the task list for Saturday although we may have some things to add to it.

Hope to see y’all soon,

Anne
