Save the Date**

Hello garden people.  Sure is hard to think about digging in the ground when the temp is in single digits, isn’t it?  I’m not even sure it’s physically possible; I imagine the ground is rock hard right now!

Garden season is nearly upon us!  Our first workday is scheduled for Saturday, March 7—just two weeks from tomorrow!  I’ll send out more information closer to time, but wanted to be sure you have this date marked on your calendar.  I’m looking forward to seeing my garden family again; I’ve missed you all!

A word from Isaiah that seems appropriate to the weather and the garden:

Isaiah 55:10-12

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth; it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.  You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
