Hi Gardeners!!

As if the weather wasn’t beautiful enough, we have two more pieces of great news!!  We stopped by the garden this morning to find that Hughes St. is being resurfaced!  Great thing since it has been a pothole minefield for a while!  It looks like they may also pave a bit of our drive into the garden too or at least fill in the drop off with gravel etc. 

Best news is one of the managers at Walmart called us this morning and has several pallets worth of organic potting soil and mulch and a couple of bags of rock that they want to donate to us!  Many of the bags are dry rotted or broken open.  So we need a couple of trucks and maybe 8-10 strong backs to help load and unload these donations Saturday morning.  They are cleaning out their garden center area so we need to get it fairly quickly, but they are willing to wait until Saturday.  We thought we might try to meet in the front parking lot on the garden center side this Saturday at 8:30am.  Please reply back if you can help and also if you have a truck or trailer that we can use.  We want to make sure we can respond to their generosity quickly and make it as convenient for them as possible.
