Garden meeting reminder – Please join us!!

Spring 2014 Planning meeting – Simple Gifts Community Garden

Tonight at 6pm

Apex UMC Fellowship Hall – 100 S. Hughes St. – the only one-story red brick building on campus

We’ll be talking about plans for all three planting seasons, budget, social events, leadership opportunities and more. You are ALL welcome! The more involvement we have, the richer the garden will be. We hope to see as many of you as possible. Consider where you might be crucial to our success this year!

P.S. We have a lot on the agenda but we are hoping to finish the meeting by 7:30pm. So here are some of our hopes for the meeting:

1. Everyone’s opinion matters. Please speak up, but share respectfully.

2. Consensus and compromise means everyone is heard and valued and no one gets everything they want.

3. Great ideas need great leaders – if you have an inspired idea, consider whether you and/or you and a team of others can make it happen!
