Hello Garden Members!

 

We wanted to give a quick “shout out” for those who were able to come Thursday with short notice and help harvest the sweet potatoes. With many hands, we harvested over 330 pounds of sweet potatoes. In addition to the sweet potatoes, we harvested many of the remaining summer crops before they were damaged by the frost. It was a beautiful afternoon made even better by good company in the garden

 

We removed the potatoes from the garden and are storing at homes, but will have sweet potatoes available at each workday for garden members.

 

Attached are a couple pictures from today, and I suspect that Fred will be posting a few more to Facebook:)
